Travel has a way of becoming a long string of coincidences that, when looked back upon, seem to have been inevitable. A few weeks ago, our long string of coincidences ended with me water skiing behind a boat owned by a friendly Kansas family on a lake a few miles from the World’s Largest Ball of Twine.
